Cast Bios

Tanya Anderson

Tanya Anderson earned a BFA in theatre from Tisch School of the arts at NYU, and an MFA in theatre from Rhode Island College/Trinity Rep. She currently works with Living Literature bringing educational programs to many RI libraries. Favorite past roles at 2nd Story include: Nurse Ratched in ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest’, Myra in ‘Seven Keys To Bald Pate’ and Claudia in last season’s production of ‘Enron’. Off stage, Tanya can be found running after her four beautiful children!

Ron Cesario

Ron Cesario (Costume Designer) has designed over 80 productions in 13 years as 2nd Story’s Resident Costume Designer.  Ron currently manages the Brown University Costume Shop.  He spent 14 years at Trinity Rep, the last 10 as Costume Director.  Other credits include designs for the Helen Hayes Performing Arts Center, Cape Cod Playhouse, Theater IV Virginia, Perishable Theater, Trinity Rep Conservatory, Rhode Island College and Brown/Trinity Playwrights Rep. He was Costume Designer for Boozical: The Musical and was an original cast member. He designs stagewear for The Khris Francis Show and gowns for the fabulous Miss Ladiva Jonz.  Ron has collaborated with Kym Moore on several Brown TAPS department shows including: Pippin, The Cook, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde and Hype Hero; as well as her off-Broadway production of Jomama Jones Radiate.

Jillian Eddy

Jillian holds her BFA in Theatre from the University of Rhode Island, concentrating in theatre design technology. She is 2nd Story’s resident production artist, filling her days with painting, building, hanging, and generally anything else required to get a production up and running – a Jill of all trades, you might say. Jillian has worked regionally with Wilbury Theatre Co., The Barker Playhouse, and the University of Rhode Island.

Lara Hakeem Lara Hakeem

Lara Hakeem has an equal passion for acting and directing in the theater, which she has been doing consistently for three decades. She has worked summer stock and national tours, most recently directing with Epic Theatre Company. Lara’s 2nd Story roles include Bette in the Marriage of Bette and Boo, Sylvia and Sylvia, Rita in Prelude to a Kiss and Vanda in Venus in Fur. When offstage, Lara distributes Young Living oils and lifestyle guides, along with personal fitness training. Lara is CEO of Perfectives, a marketing and management company specializing in project leadership, marketing, sales, research intercepts, moderating, and space planning and design.

Frank Iaquinta

Frank is thrilled to be involved with 2nd Story. He recently performed in original, immersive production of Alice in Wonderland, staged in Plimouth Plantation. Frank recently graduated from Bridgewater State University, spending his senior year helping craft an original, immersive production titled An Awfully Big Adventure, based around the story of Peter Pan, whom he portrayed. He has interned with theatres like the Petersborough Players and he is thrilled to dive back into some raw, grounded theater.

Emily Lewis

Emily is the Program Manager for the Manton Avenue Project, an after-school playwriting program for children in Providence’s Olneyville neighborhood. Previous 2nd Story roles include: Abbey in The Late Christopher Bean, the Teacher/Reporter in Speech & Debate, Ivy in August: Osage County, and Candy in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Other favorite roles include: Julianna in The Other Place, Jane in This (Epic Theatre Co.), and Molly in Love Song (SideCar Prod.).

Lian-Marie Munro Lian-Marie Munro

Principal film work includes The Crucible & Dead Silence. NY theatres include Classic Stage Co., The Flea, HERE. Target Margin, The Ohio, Lark Playwright’s, EST, Lynx Ensemble, PST, The Public (UTR Festival), E.A.T.  Regionally, she’s frequented Trinity Rep., Co., Wellesley Summer Theatre, The Berkshire Theatre Festival, Stageworks/Hudson., Burning Coal Theatre Co., & The Touring Theatre of NC.

Mrs. Munro received her MFA from Trinity Rep and is a certified Pilates & MELT instructor.

Mark Peckham

Mark Peckham’s is a Rhode Island based director, whose recent 2nd Story Theatre credits include: Educating Rita, I Hate Hamlet, And Miss Reardon Drinks A Little, Collected Stories, Eleemosynary, Becky’s New Car, Dancing at Lughnasa and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

Max Ponticelli

Max Ponticelli serves as 2nd Story Theatre’s Producing Director and has been on staff since 2009. He holds a BFA in Dramatic Arts from URI and is a part-time faculty member at Clark University. Recently, Max been adding more “designer” credits to his resume: lighting for Prelude to a Kiss, Freud’s Last Session and Trip to Bountiful; sound for Enron (Motif Award, Best Sound Design), scenic design for Seascape and Murder at the Howard Johnson’s; and production design for Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Tuesdays with Morrie, and Love, Loss & What I Wore. He occasionally works regionally with, most recently, Bridgewater State University, The Wilbury Theatre Group, and Trinity Rep.

Cam Torres

Cam is thrilled to be working with 2nd Story for the first time! He was most recently seen touring with Brown Box Theatre Project’s Hamlet as Claudius. Other credits include; Cymbeline (Brown Box Theatre Project), Angels in America (Salem Theater Company), A Winter’s Tale and A Midsummer Nights Dream (Bay Colony Shakespeare Co.) Cam also regularly performs with C.O.A.A.S.T and their touring production of Four Legs to Stand On. He would like to thank Mark and Ed for this wonderful opportunity, and as always thank Ashley and his family for the love and never ending support.
