Cast Bios

Matthew Gorgone

Breakfast at Tiffany’s will be Matthew’s premiere at Second Story Theatre, although he has attended numerous productions as an avid audience member and is thrilled to have been given the opportunity to take the stage. Recent local productions include Spring Awakening (Wilbury Group); Billy Elliot, Born Yesterday (OSTC); The American Dream, Boys of St Matthews, Dangerous Liasons (EPIC). Other past favorites include Into the Woods, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Love Letters. A Smithfield native with a degree in Acting and Directing from SMU Minnesota, Matthew is also a piano instructor with the Zabinski Music Studio in Pawtucket.

Kerry Giorgi

Breakfast at Tiffany’s is Kerry Giorgi’s second show at 2nd Story, previously playing Caroline Bender in The Best of Everything. She has also worked extensively with Epic Theatre Company, most recently as Maggie in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Jillian Eddy

Jillian holds her BFA in Theatre from the University of Rhode Island, concentrating in theatre design technology. She is 2nd Story’s resident production artist, filling her days with painting, building, hanging, and generally anything else required to get a production up and running – a Jill of all trades, you might say. Jillian has worked regionally with Wilbury Theatre Co., The Barker Playhouse, and the University of Rhode Island.

Ron Cesario

Ron Cesario (Costume Designer) has designed over 80 productions in 13 years as 2nd Story’s Resident Costume Designer.  Ron currently manages the Brown University Costume Shop.  He spent 14 years at Trinity Rep, the last 10 as Costume Director.  Other credits include designs for the Helen Hayes Performing Arts Center, Cape Cod Playhouse, Theater IV Virginia, Perishable Theater, Trinity Rep Conservatory, Rhode Island College and Brown/Trinity Playwrights Rep. He was Costume Designer for Boozical: The Musical and was an original cast member. He designs stagewear for The Khris Francis Show and gowns for the fabulous Miss Ladiva Jonz.  Ron has collaborated with Kym Moore on several Brown TAPS department shows including: Pippin, The Cook, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde and Hype Hero; as well as her off-Broadway production of Jomama Jones Radiate.

Kevin Broccoli Kevin Broccoli

Kevin Broccoli is an actor, writer, and local Rhode Islander. He’s thrilled to be back at 2nd Story where favorite roles include Mason in Take Me Out, Harding in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Curtis in The Lyons. His work as a writer has been featured in over twelve 2nd Story Dark Nights, as well as at Mixed Magic Theatre, Contemporary Theatre Company, and Counter Productions. He is also the writer and star of the web series “Amateurs” and the Artistic Director of Epic Theatre Company in Cranston, RI.

Jason Quinn

Jason Quinn is an actor/singer from Providence, RI, excited to be back for his 3rd performance with 2nd Story Theatre. Previous productions include One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest (Motif Award – Best Professional Male Performance: Chief Bromden) and Saint Joan. Favorite Theatre Credits: Passing Strange – Narrator (Wilbury Theatre Group), Titus Andronicus – Aaron the Moor (Burbage Theatre Company), When Mahalia Sings – Thomas Dorsey (Mixed Magic Theatre), Booty Candy (Epic Theatre Company), Little Shop of Horrors – Audrey 2 (R.I.S.E). Jason is also a lead singer with the critically acclaimed Mixed Magic Exult Choir.

Hannah Lum

Hannah Lum is currently both a resident performer and Executive Director at Epic Theatre Company in Rhode Island. She received a B.A. in English & Theatre from Williams College, and has worked with Mixed Magic Theatre, Contemporary Theatre Company, RISE, and Ocean State Theatre Company. Favorite roles include Ruth in The Homecoming, Annette in God of Carnage, Masha in Three Sisters, Lucy in Jekyll and Hyde, Emma Brookner in The Normal Heart, and Maria in West Side Story. She has premiered lead roles in new works such as Demeter in American Strippers and Karen in The Diner and Mr. Stone. You may also have seen her in “Amateurs: The Webseries,” and in independent film projects with Scorpio Film Releasing. This is her first production at 2nd Story Theatre.

Jennifer Michaels

Jennifer Michaels is enjoying her 4th performance with 2nd Story most recently having performed in The Best of Everything, and The Ladies Man. Jennifer graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BFA in Theatre Arts.

Max Ponticelli

Max Ponticelli serves as 2nd Story Theatre’s Producing Director and has been on staff since 2009. He holds a BFA in Dramatic Arts from URI and is a part-time faculty member at Clark University. Recently, Max been adding more “designer” credits to his resume: lighting for Prelude to a Kiss, Freud’s Last Session and Trip to Bountiful; sound for Enron (Motif Award, Best Sound Design), scenic design for Seascape and Murder at the Howard Johnson’s; and production design for Frankie & Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Tuesdays with Morrie, and Love, Loss & What I Wore. He occasionally works regionally with, most recently, Bridgewater State University, The Wilbury Theatre Group, and Trinity Rep.
