To grab a season flyer, please contact the box office.

On matinees, for example, “easy access” is a commodity. So the sooner you select your seats, the better. Orders are processed in the order they are received.

FYI: “Easy access” seating is on the same level as the stage (Row A). Each following row is an additional step or two up.

Pay attention to your choice of date and time! Save your email confirmation on your smartphone.

On average, 2nd Story actors devote more than 200 hours to a production.  That equals seven full-time work weeks.

A contribution to the Actors’ PayRole is your way to help provide stipends for those whose work brings so much joy and satisfaction.

Consider showing your gratitude with a generous, tax-deductible gift.

Our actors give so much, and you’ve responded with your presence, your applause, your support. We thank you and ask that you give just a little bit more.

What are your general guidelines for a great experience?

  • Arrive on time! Seating begins 30 minutes before showtime & latecomers may or may not be seated at the house’s discretion.
  • Please let us know if you have any concerns about special seating requirements. We are handicap accessible.
  • Grab an early drink! Our wonderful downstairs bar area opens 1 hour before showtime, so grab a beverage…and soon a meal!
  • We do not hold tickets without payment and unclaimed seats are subject to resale, so make sure you’ve purchased your tickets.

What if I misplace my tickets?

We use an online ticketing system, so it’s all on the interwebs. You can have your purchase confirmation open on your smart phone or printed out, if you like. But our courteous staff will always have a list of attendees at the door.

What if I'm unable to attend a show?

Changes to your reservation are free online, 48 hours prior to your reservation. Assisted changes are subject to a fee. Inside that 48 hour window, we can’t make any changes. We do not offer refunds.

You can always give them to a friend (or 4!).

What's with the fees?

Our incredible staff keeps 2nd Story operating each and every day and we think they’re worth it, don’t you? Transactions with our staff are $2.50/ticket.

Ok, but give me all the details on ticketing.

We used to have previews, but not any more!

Patrons age 25 and under get a cheaper price because we’re trying to cultivate a younger generation of theatre goers. No, it’s not a student discount. And yes, we’ll check your ID. Not available for Extension performances.

Our Discount Window is easier than subscriptions, we think. No forms, no fuss, no extra fees. Buy early and save!

Yes, we increase prices for extensions. Supply and demand!

I'm thirsty. Can I imbibe?

Definitely. Our bar is open 1 hour prior to performances, so grab a drink and bring it upstairs for the show. Just try not to spill!

And if you’re in the area while a show is playing, come in for a drink anyway! Soon, you’ll be able to eat too…stay tuned!

Where can I park?

There are several areas to park nearby. Find your favorite one by planning your visit!

Is the theatre handicap accessible?

Yes, we are fully handicap accessible.

There is a ramp on the West entrance to the building, a lift to our UpStage Theatre, and there are handicap-accessible restrooms.

UpStage has seats in the front row on stage level (Row A) for anyone with mobility concerns, as well as dedicated seats for those of us in wheelchairs.

Is the show appropriate for my child?

We can’t make that decision. We suggest checking out each play individually online or at your local library!
